I don’t work remotely.

I work from my office in my house or on my IPad or my IPhone.

That’s because I don’t have a job. My job is me. It doesn’t matter where I am.

I learned about location when I was a puppy in Canada. Marshall McLuhan predicted a global village and he was right. He studied medieval history.

If you don’t believe the world is a global village watch how Wall Street reacts to financial issues on the other side of the world. It will impact your 401K no matter where you are.

I have worked with a creative and digital partner in Argentina for over 10 years.

He is a brother from another mother.

He is much younger than me.

I originally met him by email in Orange County where we both lived.

He was back in Argentina when I first met him in person.

The question came from a great prospect that could probably help the agency grow their business. She worked at a larger shop.

No, is what they said.

Funny that the folks at their agency are probably using a cloud based CRM or project management system that resides in thin air.

I was helping another agency find some great talent. Before I asked them they told me it doesn’t matter where the person is located.

The salary of that person was double what the first agency was paying.

The irony for me is that agencies that are in one city can have their creative or media implemented many time zones away and the management doesn’t seem to think it is an issue.

They don’t have to sell it. That is for their employees to deal with.

Funny that having people work from home is a problem.
